Graduate School
The purpose of founding the Department of Statistics in the KU Graduate School was to support specialized statistics education for theoretical statistics research and the development of applied studies based on it. Through the in-depth study of the latest statistical theories and methodologies and specialized education tailored to each field, such as financial, information, social, and biostatistics. We are training the next generation of scholars who will lead world-class research in the future, as well as experts in decision making based on quantitative analysis. By strengthening academic exchanges and links with related departments at home and abroad and continuously promoting industry-university exchanges, our graduate program aims to contribute to the dissemination of research achievements and to cultivate data scientists who are equipped with creative research capabilities and international competitiveness.
